This is supposed to be summer!

We are having the usual mix of summer weather, which has actually been good for plant growth, if not so good for us humans.  The occasional warmth followed by rain has meant that the plantings I carried out earlier in the year, particularly of perennials, have grown away well and give a surprising maturity to young gardens....
